with god's will..

finally, the most anticipated interview is over. i woke up at 4 am, tak ingat la mimpi apa tapi ada la related dengan interview. i was so nervous, sampai termimpi2 pasal interview. pastu yg bestnya, hari ni nak interview, malam tadi R kena gi ofis amik all my important documents and pic. astaga.. nampak sgt aku tak ready. kesian dia, dah la penat smlm berbuka dgn kwn2 dia kat sogo.

pastu pepagi je lepas sahur baru sedar aku tak print latest resume. aduh!! tak tau nak ckp mcm mana kat abah, for sure la abah marah kan sbb dari dulu lagi dia selalu pesan suruh ready barang awal2. ehehe.. i called R at 615am, nasib baik dia sedar gak bunyi phone tu. kesian dia, i had to ask him to go to office and print my resume and send to me at klcc. :( kalau org dapat kerja kat situ, i owe u big time dear :)

i reached klcc around 745. blardy early. interview starts at 9. but ok la, at least i get to see the envinroment and the ppl. R came at 750 and bawak round jalan2 and isi minyak jap. hehe comel je. i was so nervous til i can hear my tummy grousing. ada vibrator kot kat dalam perut. dah mmg sakit perut for few days though, tapi buat bodo je.

sharp at 8, amik visitor pass kat counter. yg bestnya, boleh plak tak ingat room number, ingat tingkat 37 je. aduh apa la nak jadi ni. masok2 je kat atas tu, gi toilet dulu. cirit la plak. tapi ok la, at least tak la kacau masa interview nanti.

there were few candidates, around 12 kot. tak kira lak. but not too many. we were placed in 2 rooms, and we get to know each other, well. ice breaking session la. diorang semua budak scholar, sorang accounting, sorang legal, sorang engine dari manchester uni, and sorang lagi budak utp. aku je 'outsider'. kinda felt left out but who cares, lets kick some ass! (rhyme la plak)

the first task was writing test. the instruction was "tell us about yourself by giving one adjective' and please elaborate". something like that. mak aih i dont even remember what adjective is. puas aku pikir, and i chose the word 'hype'. dah habis buat test tu baru sedar hype is not an adjective. what d hell. lantak lah, what past is past hahaha. stupid.

cik saiful yg handle interview tu muka dia familiar nak mampus. i think ive seen him somewhere.. in the train maybe. dia tu kejap kerek kejap ok. agak tak paham la. but tak kisah la since he's really helpful. lepas tu, dia bagi kitorg sorang satu case study. orang lain nye case study cam senang je. email addiction, wildlife preservation la, aku plak kena apa ntah kena mengena dgn prescribe drugs and science. i was like "whattttt????" i had to go through the passages for 10 times kot baru nak paham what the story is all about. damn. we were given few blank papers to scribble down any points we want, since benda tu yg diorg nak tanya masa interview nanti. gulp!!

we had to take turns.. and it was already 11. rasa cam cepat je masa berlalu. i was already a bit nervous. my palms were sweaty. the view was nice though, can see my office. oh ya, kak shima sms pagi2 tanya dah mention kat boss ke belum. i had to tell them im on EL since ada sedara meninggal. mmg ada pun sedara meninggal tapi 2 hari lepas la. gheeeeeeeeee.

sedar2 je tetiba saiful dah panggil nama aku. dia suruh masuk bilik 3707. nampak ada sorang pakcik yg rambut dia tak berapa banyak dalam tu. but he was alone. bilik lain semua ada 2 org panel. wow. im THAT lucky eh this time? orang lain semua aku tengok muka toya je dlm bilik yg ada 2 org panel. fuhfuh!! aku buat konon2 cam confident.. ketuk la pintu tu, bagi salam, sengih cam kerang busuk, and got in n duduk diam.

as usual, intro diri, personal and work scope. i notice this bald fella is very welcoming, very pleasing and his hospitality makes me eager to join this blardy company ahhahaha ya rite. lepas intro tu, kitorg discuss case study. he said there is no right or wrong, he just wanted to know how i think. ok.. whatever. masa tu la aku hentam je pape yg patut. tak tau la dia rasa aku ni mcm mana. only god knows.

the next stage is.. dia tanya "what would you do if u find your colleage not doing her job?" tetiba aku teringat budak kat ofis tu. and aku jawab je la sejujurnya, i was being myself. my pure self.
the last part baru role play. aku jadi manufacturing plant manager, dia jadi environmental health officer. ada 2 cards, the second one was a bit tricky. but all in all, ada la fumble here and there, but it was all OK. but tak tau la pakcik tu pikir apa kan. nak je tanya dia tp tak tanya la kan.

then, he asked me whether i have questions or not. i asked him the time frame for me to get reply from HR whether or not i am selected/shortlisted and the criteria theyre looking for this position (ni soalan beria je). masa dia jawab tu aku dah tak boleh focus, my eyes were looking at his but my mind was somewhere else hahahha.

abis je interview, duduk balik dalam bilik. ada maths test and comprehension test. bedal je la, saiful pun cakap test tu tak penting, yg penting masa dalam bilik interview tu je. he said im lucky since cik affendi (masa ni baru aku tau nama pakcik tu) ni baik. dia kata biasa kalau jumpa cik affendi tu mmg rezeki la tu. well tanak la termakan sgt ckp dia takut aku over excited sekali apa pun tak dapat. im being neutral now, but im happy i didnt reject the interview. cant believe i actually went for the interview!
